The best result in past 20 years of the clubs Domenica Sveta Nedelja and Fortis Samobor, came from Spain on May 12th where was held the 12th European IKO Matsushima Open Championship:
- Alen Ćosić (Domenica) – won 1st place in kata junior boys
- Mateo Ćosić (Domenica) – won 2nd place in kata junior boys and 3rd place in kumite older junior boys -75 kg
- Nika Šemeš (Domenica) – won 3rd place in kumite adult woman -65 kg in U-21 category
- Tihana Jagodić (Fortis) – won 3rd place in kumite adult woman -55 kg
On May 13th seminar lead by Kancho Yoshikazu Matsushima and Hanshi Roman Szyrajew was held.
